Dear Bar Community,

We deeply regret that some bar applicants experienced a post-exam processing delay as they submitted their exam files on July 29. To anyone affected, we would like to offer our sincere apology.

The delay in processing did not relate to, or impact, applicants' answer content, which was saved and preserved for submission to state bar examiners. To accommodate for the delays, we worked with state bar jurisdictions to extend answer submission (i.e. upload) deadlines as needed, and tried our best to communicate those extensions. As far as we know, applicants did not miss final deadlines as a result of the delay on the 29th. Therefore, applicants' answers are in the hands of the appropriate bar jurisdictions and are already in the routine grading process.

If you are an applicant looking for further verification of your file uploads, please check your personal portal or contact us directly and we would be happy to help you.

Again, we apologize for the delay which occurred after exams on the 29th, and are happy to share that this did not impact answer content. We have successfully delivered state bar exams for more than a decade, and we are committed to rebuilding the trust of our users. To that end, we are learning from this experience and taking important steps to improve our performance going forward.

Regards,
